"Uneasy Peace in the South Caucasus" The panel brought together leading experts to examine the fragile new order taking shape in one of the world's most contested corridors. The discussion covered the aftermath of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict and the US-brokered peace agreement, Georgia's democratic backslide, the pressures of two surrounding conflicts (Ukraine and Iran wars), Russia's declining influence in the region, and the question of whether Europe can secure a region in which it has significant interests regarding energy and trade connectivity with Asia.
